fruit that looks like artichoke (in no particular order)

Fields of sunflowers search for the sun on a cloudy day.
Women beat clothes against the rocks on the side of a shallow creek.
While riding a motorbike, a man glides his fingers through a crown of gray curls.
On the side of the road, a woman grasps the arm of the toddler running in front of her (as our car roars toward them).
On a muddy lot in front a temple, a group of children chase one another barefoot in the rain.
A mickey mouse-headed moonbounce faces the ocean while several children fall over one another in its interior.
Cows with red-painted horns apathetically watch the cars go by as they graze in the mud.
Waiting at a traffic light on a motorbike in the afternoon, a preschool-aged girl wearing a white shirt with a Peter Pan collar and a gray dress stares intently at our car; her father sits behind her holding a red "Neverland" bag.
A shabby, pale green circus tent beckons from a distant field.
A boy pushes a cart transporting rows of potted brightly-colored flowers (dahlias? zinnias?)
Bunches of apples hang from a stall and sit in pyramids like stuffed animals in game booths at Six Flags wait to be won.
While several little boys bathe and play in a river, a schoolgirl with red ribbons in her hair runs from a splash along an adjacent rock.
Belted with triple stripes of white, black, white paint, banyan trees stand guard along the highway.
